Meinl and Leuchter but it is a solid instrument that would be good for players on a budget looking to get into a historic alto. With the right mouthpiece, I think it would work very well. This is a bit of a rare bird, it is becoming more difficult to find a nice vintage Bach 16G with the lightweight nickel slide and .509" bore "M" slide. It is really easy to use, and has a few advantages for brass players including: (a) the ability to choose "Equal Temperament" (piano tuning) or "Standard Just Intonation" (which produces the in-tune sound, free of beats, used by brass groups, strings, etc) (b) the ability to change the Tuning Root; so for example, you can set the Root to "D" so that the notes on a D trumpet appear as you would read them (so written C for Trumpet in D music appears as a C on the app) http://www.siaarchitects.com/?library/brass-scales-exercises-grades-1-8-trombone-trinity-guildhall-scales-arpeggios-by-trinity

. It is made from ultra super thin brass and might be one of the lightest trombones I've held quite stunning. It has a quart valve (F attachment) that is actuated by a string linkage/ leather strap. The original slide tubes were raw brass, the bottom is still intact. The top tube was destroyed and has been replaced with a .547" Yamaha YBL-605 German bass trombone tube (along with the German Bass lead pipe) Originally, no lead pipe would be there, but the addition of one helps stabilize the playability of the horn and doesn't change the sound http://www.manonthemoon.es/?freebooks/the-capture-of-kars-trombone-1-2-and-3-parts-qty-2-each-a-1855
