Might be one of the best piccolos with pedigree on the market right now. $3400 This is an exotic and beautiful large bore tenor trombone. These were made as less expensive options to the stradivarius line, keeping the price down by having all brass trim instead of nickel accents. The slide is a small bore, .485" and has a nice even balanced blow. Also this is not an instructable about coating after polishing. Since they are easy to handle and they produce sound with just a puff of a breath, kids enjoy experimenting with these little instruments.

The tromboon was created for humorous purposes by musical parodist Peter Schickele by replacing a trombone's leadpipe with the reed and bocal of a bassoon. The name of the instrument is a portmanteau word of "trombone" and "bassoon". Schickele called it "a hybrid—that's the nicer word—constructed from the parts of a bassoon and a trombone; it has all the disadvantages of both." However you decide to apply the lacquer, be sure to only put on a thin layer. Watch for any dripping lacquer, because the drippings can dry, leaving your brass piece covered in drip streaks. [22] Allow the brass piece to dry thoroughly before touching. After the lacquer is dry, wipe the brass with a clean cloth to give it some shine ref.: http://schoolbustobaja.com/?freebooks/symphony-no-6-op-58-trombone-3-part-qty-2-a-2367.
